Official Launching of the EU-Asia Biomass Conference 2012

Biomass-SP launched the EU-Asia Biomass Best Practices & Business Partnering Conference 2012 yesterday, at the Putra World Trade Centre, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This initiative comprises of Pre-Conference Seminars, International Conference, Business Match-Making Event and Exhibition.  The project aims to improve the competitiveness of biomass companies in both the EU and Asia regions via trade and investment, joint venture, environmental technology transfer and cooperation, sharing of best practices and know-how within the key priority sectors of biomass industry especially those involved in bioenergy, biofertilisers, high value chemicals, eco-products and green building materials. We are expecting 400-500 participants to attend this auspicious event.

The event on 9th December 2011 (Friday) was graced by H.E Vincent PiketAmbassador and Head of Delegation of the European Union to Malaysia.

This launching ceremony was attended by 300 invited guests involved in the biomass supply chain.  A briefing session was conducted after the launching ceremony to share on how Biomass-SP’s Business Partnering Framework can assist organizations to promote long-term business or environmental collaboration on biomass development projects.
