The EU-Malaysia Biomass Sustainable Production Initiative (Biomass-SP) is a development cooperation project funded by the European Union (EU) under the SWITCH-Asia Programme, and jointly promoted by the Malaysian Industry-Government Group for High Technology (MIGHT), the Association for Environmental Consultants and Companies of Malaysia (AECCOM), the European Biomass Industry Association (EUBIA), and the Danish Technological Institute (DTI).

Whether you are a business owner seeking to utilise biomass in your operations, or you simply want to know more about biomass industry in general in Malaysia, we hope this website will meet your expectations.BIOMASS-SP is designed to encourage the uptake of SCP practices for targeted stakeholders particularly SMEs in the biomass industry. It brings together stakeholders and experts to participate in various activities within the project framework which emphasise on market access opportunities to the EU market as well as best practices and case studies on SP or SCP projects.
Biomass-SP recently honoured 14 SMEs under the EU-Malaysia Biomass Entrepreneurs Nurturing Programme (EUM-BENP) who have successfully implemented Sustainable Production (SP) at the Biomass SMEs Recognition Programme & Knowledge Exchange Seminar. Check out the photos [HERE].
